"Spiceworld", the album was released in November 1997 in the both the US and the UK. The album went to #1 in the UK, selling 191,000 copies in its first week, and peaked at #3 in America with first week sales of 83,000.
The album achieved four Top 2 singles in the UK, three of which were #1s. In the US, single success was not as strong as with "Spice", however "Too Much" reached #9 and "Spice Up Your Life" went gold. "Spiceworld" was the 4th best seller of 1997 and the 27th best seller of 1998 in the UK. The album went on to sell nearly 1.6 million copies in the UK, and 4.1 million copies in the US. "Spiceworld" went on to sell 14 million copies worldwide.
