Melanie C - This Time

"This Time" is the fourth solo album from Melanie C, and the second on her self-funded record label. Released
on 2nd April 2007 in the UK and around this date in other European territories, the album met varied success. Launched on the back of "I Want Candy" in the UK and "The Moment You Believe" in Europe, the album had a strong promo campaign, but this didn't equate to high sales. In the UK, the album debuted at #57 and went on to sell 11,000 copies. However, it did reach #15 in Germany and #8 in Switzerland, where it has a gold certification. There were two further singles, "Carolyna" and "This Time", which failed to set the charts alight. Melanie is yet to tour "This Time" due to the Spice Girls reunion, although she will continue to promote the album through 2008.
