Bunton - Downtown "Downtown" was the first single to be taken from Emma's long-awaited third album "Life In Mono". Released on 13th November 2006 on download-format, and a week later on physical formats, this project was somewhat of a rushed one as Emma was also appearing on "Strictly Come Dancing" at the time. Promotion came in the form of Strictly Come Dancing spin-off "It Takes Two" and a few live performances. Charting at #24 on downloads alone (with 5,025 copies sold), the single peaked at #3 (with 30,560 copies sold), going on to sell over 74,000 copies. "Downtown" was also the highest-peaking single from a solo-Spice Girl for over three years. UK Top 200 Chart Run: |
